"With the launching of a tourist website in Mandarin, as well as Chinese websites on education and business in the future, it will surely make Chinese tourists, student and businesspersons feel very welcome in your county."
H.E. MADAME FU YING:
"I welcome this initiative to make Suffolk even more friendly and hospitable to Chinese students, tourists and business visitors"

The China Friendly Suffolk campaign is a joint initiative of Choose Suffolk and Yaxley Education Consulting (Beijing) Limited. It is being executed by Yaxley Education from its twin bases in Suffolk and Beijing.
Suffolk County Council is a major supporter of the campaign. The Council’s Leader launched the campaign in October 2009, with an initial focus only on tourism. Since then it has, as always envisaged, been broadened out to incorporate business and education. A Chinese language business website will now join the Chinese language tourism website that both promote Suffolk within China.

Adnams and Aldeburgh Productions
Adnams provide a range of beautiful hotels in and around our important tourist destination of Aldeburgh. Adnams has also realised the long-term potential of marking itself out to future Chinese visitors by providing a downloadable PDF on its website that markets its hotels in the Chinese languages. Few hotels anywhere in Europe have gone to this trouble, which is in fact easy to achieve, but singles out the businesses instantly.
Aldeburgh Music provides literally world-class cultural events. It attracts performers and audiences from around the globe. It befits the outstanding reputation of the organisation that Aldeburgh Music too has taken the step of providing downloadable promotional information, in Chinese, on its website.
We look forward to welcoming more supporters of the campaign as it develops and captures the imagination of people and businesses within our county. If you wish to become a supporter of the campaign, either simply as an organisation that has taken small but important steps to become “China Friendly”, or as an official supporter or sponsor please click here.
